I hope you all had a Happy Easter or Passover! We celebrated at our house with my parents, David's mom, and our good friends Gina, Bill and Jo! From the spectacular weather that caused everything to bloom overnight, to baking my first ever carrot cake from scratch (my recipe here), to our baby boy's first easter egg hunt and our church's first ever Easter Service - it was really a weekend to remember. I love entertaining at home and had so much fun prepping our Easter lunch. Scroll down for more photos from our Easter weekend in New England!

GET THE LOOK:
I picked my outfit to complement my new pearl collar from my friend Jenny Cipoletti's new jewelry collection. Her pieces are so beautiful and come in the most gorgeous giftable packaging! I got my dress last month and have been saving it for Easter, I think there's something so lovely about a white dress when you're surrounded by colorful springtime blooms. I also wore my new Sarah Flint gold sandals, and even after wearing them for 5+ hours, my feet felt great! (I threw on this cardigan in "english rose" for a little extra warmth and coverage at church.)
I thought I had ordered this tablecloth and these napkins and then... I realized on Friday that they were still in my cart and I had never checked out. Oops! So our table was very similar to our Easter table from last year, which I loved and didn't mind repeating! Most pieces I used are sold out or vintage, but linking sources below in case something catches your eye. My friend Gina has a tradition of making the most beautiful Pysanky painted eggs which were scattered over the table, and I made my first ever carrot cake and WOW was it delicious! There's something special about baking a layer cake that feels so much more festive than other kinds of baking. I wrote down my recipe here!

A few photos from our baby boy's first Easter egg hunt in our town commons! I love his little gingham jacket for spring in New England - it looks spring-y while still keeping him warm with a much needed layer!
