Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father’s Day is fast approaching, and if your mind is still swirling with ideas—or, perhaps, blank pages—consider this your curated shortcut to the perfect “thank-you” for every kind of dad. Whether he’s racking up air-miles chasing the next adventure, firing up the grill like a backyard pit-master, or simply savoring slow Sunday mornings with a strong cup of coffee, I’ve hand-picked gifts that feel thoughtful, timeless, and just a touch indulgent. Think elevated essentials he’ll reach for every day, clever gadgets that spark genuine delight, and small luxuries that remind him how loved he is—because after all the pep talks, piggyback rides, and perfectly timed dad-jokes, he deserves more than another last-minute tie. Dive in below to find the present that will make him smile long after June 15th.

  • We are spending every possible minute outside, and I love throwing this chic portable speaker (on sale now!) in our boat and tote for backyard grilling and beach days - perfect for the outdoorsy dad who loves music.
  • Similarly, this is the best outdoor blanket. It washes beautifully, which mean's its great for wrapping up in whether you're on a boat or gathered around an outdoor fire pit!
  • Our little boy loves going to the beach so we've all had to build up our collection of swimsuits - these trunks are so good for Dad, especially in the 5.5" length. (Also love this brick red version.)
  • David and I have given each other art as special gifts over the years, but framing can be expensive! Thank goodness for Framebridge that offers handsome frames at great prices. Upload your favorite photo of dad for a wonderful and personal gift. My favorite frames for gifting include this, this and this for his desk!
  • Does your guy look great in linen but hates ironing? This wrinkle-resistant shirt makes looking good a breeze. (Also love the navy.)
  • David is an excellent chef and has been making homemade sourdough for over a year. We're looking to branch out into using the dough for pizza (!) and this tabletop pizza oven is on his wishlist. (If you don't have space for an oven this pizza stone works well, even for frozen pizzas!)
  • I love a handsome apron to protect his clothes while grilling, embroidered with something cheeky.
  • A Fellow pour-over coffee setup (kettle, grinder & scale) is the most used and best-loved gift I've ever given David. We were looking for a plastic-free coffee maker and this set makes amazing coffee and looks fabulous on your counter.
  • Outdoorsy guys will love these classic Sperry boat shoes - you can wade through water with them and they dry out in a couple of hours. Practical and stylish.
  • Needlepoint belts are a preppy summer staple. We found David's favorite needlepoint lobster belt at the Nantucket Hospital Thrift, but also own and love these belts, which come in countless patterns and colors. (Especially fond of this flag version!)
  • These silk pajamas are the bedtime essential he didn't know he needed, plus you can borrow them. :)
  • If you've got a major budget to spend on your guy, might I recommend reaching out to Wind Vintage. Eric Wind can help serious collectors find the perfect watch, and many of his pieces have special stories behind them, gracing the wrists of notable men throughout history. (On the other end of the spectrum, I love a guy in a Timex Weekender too.)
  • These elevated swim trunks look great on the beach and are polished enough to transition straight to dinner. David has the Nantucket red version. So good!
  • If your guy loves the New England coast take a look at my friend Jackie and Paul's online Vintage shop Seacraft Vintage. I've given David vintage ship blueprints and framed yacht ensigns from their shop. They have the best eye for coastal curiosities!
  • Swinging in a hammock is a timeless summer pleasure. We own and love this one which is strung between two trees in our backyard. Give one to dad paired with a good book!
