J.Crew's Big Spring Event is On!

J.Crew's big spring style event is on with up to 40% off clothing and 50% off swim! From chic spring dresses and bags, to a great pair of pants and fabulous swimwear there are lots of chic pieces for celebrating the arrival of warm weather.

I've rounded up some of the pieces I own and love from the sale as well as a few new fabulous finds below!

Clothing Favorites:

I don't know why this romantic ruffle top hit the sale so quickly. It is part of their premium "collection" and looks like something from Chloé. It gets great reviews - and is only $78?!
This yellow floral sundress is a winner!
I have these slouchy pants in ivory and they're so chic! I like wearing mine with the sweater tank above or this $25 cotton tank.
This pointelle knit sweater feels fancy and would also look great with my slouchy pants.
I got this large tote last summer and used it constantly, it's a great option for travel as it is perfectly packable. Throw in your luggage and bring it out for the beach upon arrival. The weave doesn't crush and it holds a lot!
I've enjoyed experimenting with different jean silhouettes over the last year. (Perhaps because jeans were so hard when I was pregnant?!) These are under $100 and give you legs for days.
This black floral gown is a great wedding guest dress and only $172! (Love the length - it's formal but can still show off pretty shoes. Find my favorite dance-all-night shoes here!)
The do-it-all straw hat . Feels like something a character in a Nancy Meyers film would wear while gardening, and I love wearing it on the beach!
The little cane patterned bucket bag is so chic.
I love a dress that can effortlessly go from the beach to lunch, and this cabana dress and this floral empire dress both do it in style.

Swimsuits!

Such a crazy cute red swimsuit - I love the ties at the hip which are adjustable. Would be perfect for Memorial Day weekend and wont give you tan lines!
I own and love this scrunchie scoopback swimsuit. I have the striped version but all of them are so chic (and comfortable for chasing around little kiddos!)
This strapless scrunchie swimsuit is so elegant - especially love the red or espresso.
Pair this block print swimsuit with a chunky white cardigan for days by the water!

For the Guys:

David gets a lot of his pieces from J.Crew Factory because we have a store near us and we discovered the men's collection quality is especially amazing for the price. Here are some of his favorite and most-worn pieces on sale!

This sweater polo is as comfortable as a t-shirt but much more refined. Perfect with chinos and loafers! It's an easy outfit for days around town or a Mediterranean vacation.
These chinos are awesome - David loves them in blues and greens.
These loafers look way more expensive than they are, and are comfortable for guys with wider feet too!
David's favorite slim fit button downs shirts are only $35 right now... amazing. My two favorites for spring are this blue gingham and this pastel check.

Not for the guys, but this gingham rain jacket is so cute. I wish I had snagged it before my size ran out!
